What is AUCTIVA

I tried buying something on eBay last night, and when I went to pay for it with my PAYPAL account it kept sending me to a site called "AUCTIVA". Who and what is that? Safe?

It looks like it's another way to pay.....tied in with ebay. The seller may want to use auctiva to keep up with paypal or ebay transactions. I would think it would be safe as long as there is "https" in the url bar at the top of the page and a locked lock at the bottom of the page.

I've had a few sellers on ebay and off that used it. Never had any problems.

Corvettedude, thanks for the link that explains who they are. The person I bought from didn't know why it sent me to that site.
