Default Seats for My 72

I'm in the process or redoing my interior and want to replace my stock seats. I like the C5 look, but there going for an Arm & Leg on EBay. Has anyone ordered any from Summit/Jeggs and if so, do you have a part number.

Send me your ZIP code and I'll see if I can find any used C5 seats close to you cheaper than Ebay.

My advise would be to not get into a hurry. I waited and found the newer C3 seats from one of the 80's years newly recovered complete with frames and even with power seat. I only paid $400 for everything. Shipping was like $50. It would cost me more than that for new foam and covers on the older seats.

I found similar C5 prices before on ebay. There are also other threads about using Camaro seats and miata seats.

Wow I did a search but not much is available. I'm sorry, but nothing came up being close or cheaper.

Keep your eyes on Ebay and Craigslist. You'll find some eventually.

Do a web search for "Auto Salvage Corvette" and see what comes up. Lots of places strip out such parts and have them waiting for you. Or check salvage yards in your area. Those will be less expensive than what's on eBay. You can always re-dye them the color you want....as long as they aren't ripped/torn. Most places can send digital photos of the seats you will be buying.
