update #2


anyways, here we go!
got a new PS pump installed on monday, luckily for me, autozone had a 68 pump in.. i ordered a 79, cause .. ya know.. thats what year i have... but the 68 pump is in, installed on me old reservoir and all. might not be factory original, but i sure will pass me inspection :P
i thought i had my brakes fixed, only to find out im still leakin out my back pass side. so i ordered me a new cali, which hopefully is correct year model and all, and thatll be in tomorrow. to bad i gotsta work, or id get it and install it. friday works ok though, so itll be in then.
i vacuumed out my interior today, and i must say, not as horid as i expected. originally i was just gonna replace everything as soon as i could, but i think i put that on the back burner for now.. maybe ill still replace the driver seat, cause its toe up, but the rest is liveable.
i found out some other things on my motor, thanks for yalls help with that. though the numbers i found werent to helpful, and the others are either WAY to blurry, or completely gone (back and front numbers respectively) i got enough info. it runs, and it shiz and gets, so im ok

ive got my "wiring" problem completely figured out.. i have THE WORST fuse box on the planet. it is so corroded and rusted and GRRRRR.. it sucks. i "rigged" a couple spots so all of my electrics now work. who the hell woulda guessed that the rear defogger ran through the light fuse???? and that the back light fuse worked the blinkers, and that the blinker fuse worked the headlights!! (yes i know ive still got problems.. but at least the all work!!!)
anyways, is good to at least feel comfortable steering in the car, and to have running lights everywhere that they are supposed to be.
hopefully, i feel as comfortable stopping on friday.
