high quality steering wheel cover
Can I get some suggestions on where the best steering wheel covers for vettes are sold? I do not want to buy a new wheel, just want to dress it up with a leather or leather-like cover. Most stuff in auto parts stores don't cut it.

I found this 100% leather cover by Bell (the helmet people) at Pep Boys for around $18.
Nice snug fit and a great feel. Got one for my '88 also.

Here's what I did.....I bought one of those cheezy neoprene covers that sort of snap on over the steering wheel. Then, I stitched on an extra wide leather cover over that. It looks awesome and feels more like a modern, thicker wheel.

Did the same thing as Bric. I put holes in both the front and back of my $5 Walley World cover with a little hole puncher and then laced it on. A lot more comfortable than the skinny wheel. Somday if I can find a red cover that doesn't look "ricer' I will redue it
