If I take a picture of my car to use as my avatar how do I get it small enough to use with the avatar restrictions?

One-change the image resolution setting on the camera before you take the pic, or two, use a photo editing program, like photoshop, to reduce the image size.

.....image resolution on the camera....good idea. Now, where did I put the owner's manual for that camera???

MS Paint comes with just about every computer and it will shrink down your pic to size.
