Starter wiring problem
I am finishing-up with installing a Corvette steering box in my "69" vette. Part of the process was taking the steering column out along with disconnecting the steering column wire blocks.
I have everything back together and am ready to start it after all the work. But now when I connect the battery (no key in ignition) the starter motor runs. It doesn't matter what position the ignition switch is in, the starter motor runs as soon as I reconnect the battery connectors. I assume it has to do with something with the wiring connectors on the steering column during the removal although they are plugged in.
Anybody run into that?
