Default Exhaust "Y" Pipe (Help)

My 1980 Vette, I added block hugger headers. Do I need to have a local muffler shop make me a "Y" exhaust pipe for it or does anyone know where I can purchase one? I'd like to stay with the stock system. The SBC hugger headers are 15 inches between centers at the collectors. I had to heat and bend the old pipe, so I could run the new motor.

By the way I got the electric fuel pump mounted and it works great, had to put in a "T" connection to return fuel back to the tank though. The pump didn't seem to have enough fuel, when I asked for it. After installing the "T", that fixed the problem. The "T" was 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/4" to the return. I guess the pump needed to have a constant flow of fuel.

I have an 80 also- but with the stock exhaust manifolds. I recently purchased a new 2 1/2 inch stainless steel Y pipe from MidAmerica. I needed a little clean-up at the interior of the Y for better flow, but was otherwise pretty good quality.. I don't know if it will fit, or can be made to fit your headers, I suspect that a good muffler shop could modify it to make it fit. However, a better choice would be for you to install a true dual exhaust- if your smog laws allow this change. MidAmerica has these pipes as well. Summit Racing has the Magnaflow cats, mufflers and tips.
