1982 Power Steering Control Valve...Help!!
Ok folks, I've taken on one of those do-it-yourself projects that I hope I don't regret. It seems simple on the surface but it's fairly new to me.
I have removed the four lines going into the control valve; loosened the ball-stud nut. I'm at the point where the instructions say 'disconnect the control valve stud from the pitman arm using an appropriate puller'. I'm kinda lost here. As many of you experienced with this will know, I cannot unscrew the control valve from the centerlink because the ball-stud going through the Pitman arm prevents the control valve from rotating.
What is an appropriate puller in this case?
