Help i bought a sand blaster cabinet from harbor and cant make it work , tried upping air compressor to 120 psi no workie good hose clamped every fitting , tried silica , oxide , cant get gun to work consistant , have good air compressor 30 gal ,filters for water, two of them to be exact checked gun ,,,, my thing is the pickup pipe has two style pickup ,,,, I feel like bozo , my other gravity feed from works great ,for frames and others but this really kicks my head in HELP....
Mine is a bench top model, has a pickup tube that lays across the bottom of the cabinet. The media can get sucked away from the pickup area pretty quick and then it only sucks air. I have to tilt the cabinet and shake sand down to the end with the pickup tube fairly often.
The other question is what kind of sand are you using? You can't use regular sand for sandboxes or cement, too many large pieces that will clog the nozzle.
I do not have the bench type...but a system that removes the broken media (dust)...but, at times the media feed line will just get plugged up with media. So, when this happens I just place my palm of my hand over the blast nozzle ...this forces the air flow back up the media feed line and purges the blockage ... Also, as the media wears out and the media is more dust than grit...it seems to happen more often.
Another thing that might be effecting your blast, is your supply air line large enough in dia., or short enough in length... to flow the proper c.f.m. for your blaster... We have allways found a benefit in putting a volume reservoir at the point of use for a high c.f.m. tool.
And, you might also check to see that the exhaust filters...will also flow freely... These systems are very simple in design and application, So if the air flow and exhaust systems are working, and the media feed is as well...Then the only other thing that comes to mind would be the media size, or condition.

Can you swap the guns between units to see if the gun is bad or missing parts?
I sift my media thru a tight screen to get the big particles out, this helps on clogging, also make sure your media is bone dry, any dampness and it will clog up. I bake my sand in a big stock pot for 2 hours in an oven to get it dry.
