Default Weatherstrip Tips?

Have any tricks of the trade for applying the T-Top weatherstrip? I've never done it before and am about to embark on "the journey". Lemme know from your experiences what's the best adhesive to use, if you used silicone, etc. Anything to help the process and ensure a good fit.

Very straight-forward. Make sure the surface on the t-tops is fairly clean, smooth, and free of the previous material. Get a tube of 3M's weatherstripping adhesive in the color black (not the yellow). Most any parts counter carries it.

There about 20 little white plastic push clips in the new w-stripping. Make sure the holes they'll be going into are ready; not plugged up.

Apply about 1/8 to 1/4" bead of the adhesive around the perimeter of the t-top. Attach the new w-stripping. Make sure the fat part of the w-stripping is correctly seating in the stainless track (the track the top of door glass will seat when the glass is all the way up).

Let it set overnight.

You may have to do some readjusting of the T-tops with the new w-tripping. No big deal.

Good luck!
