Default Another electrical question??
What is the switch mechanism at the top of my accelerator pedal in my 72 coupe?? Kind of a "slide switch" deal...

its part of the timing control system ,when you step on the pedal it activates the soloniod by the carb then sends vacumn to the dist advancing the timing
