I need some help! I have been looking all over the place for a water leak I have inside my C3. I have new carpet that I want to install but won't until I get this leak fixed
Yesterday, after a hard rain.. I found it.. I had a drop of water hanging from my rearview mirror...
Question... What seal is this water getting by to leak at the mirror?
A simple solution is get black ribbon caulk from NAPA/etc and put around your windshield between the stainless and window. Also, could use same caulk for "open spaces" on top.
Either the seals themselves or I don't know the correct name of the piece, but it is the chrome center piece that the tops seal to. it the front by the windshield it may be letting water in where it attaches to the other metal pieces that seal the tops along the winshield
I found one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Parts...m200223431460&
I had a 77 the leaked along the windshield
