air vent question

air vent question
well i got my lower drivers side dash pad out. my question is at the lower left corner is the air vent outlet where the vent ball goes. well the oval plastic piece that mounts to the rear of the dash pad that the vent cable from he console attaches to to open and close the vent is broken. i have looked at ecklers, corvette america, and other corvette parts store. i can't find it anywhere. can anyone point me the the right direction to find it. both right and left side is broken. any help would be great. thanks scott

From your description, I'm not sure what is broken. Can you post a pic and/or add more detail to your description?
