Why an interchange manual? My advice would be to purchase the '79 assembly instruction manual (AIM) and the '79 GM chassis and service manual and use the actual part numbers they list.
fantastic advice mike---but i have to buy gas,,and if a cadilac used the same part and i can find it in a bone yard,,then thats good for me.for instance i got power window switches for 1.00 each-of of a caddy-i'm sure the exact ones for my corvette elsewhere would have cost a small fortune--and that fortune now goes to exon....
You can do an ebay search for Hollander Interchange Manuals, but don't think you are going to find what you're looking for. http://motors.shop.ebay.com/items/Pa...Q20interchange
It appears Hollander has a seperate book for Corvettes and not included with other GM cars. The Corvettes had parts with their own numbers that were exclusive to Corvettes in most cases. Other builders would like to have the same book you are searching for, but that would make it too easy. Besides, the complete exchange manuals are not cheap.
