Here are some pics of the car I bought last Wednesday . I drove it back 2 and a half hrs in the pouring rain. Drove great straight and no vibrations was even good over the bumps. The wipers whent on me about half way he must of had rain x so it wasn't to bad. Check out the pics let me know
what you think. Also have the original parts a van full. Same owner since 1974 the car is a 71 have the P.O.P.
It looks like a pretty interesting find. How original is the drive train? I guess that will really determine what you have and how well you did price wise. What's your goal for the car?
Regards,
Alan
PS: Since I have a 71 too, I'm curious abut the build sequence #.
Thanks!
Looks like a nice car. All things are relative ($$$) but if the price was right looks like a sweet ride.

Thanks for the positive responses as for the #s the block is original I have the intake manifold haven't checked the tranny or rear I asked the owner if he ever changed the tank he said no. The car was in a little barn behind the guys house. He drove the car but always maintained it. He put on parts that he liked, I thought that was cool. Living room thats funny here's what the car needs paint its old laquer bubbles here and there you can see the holes from the luggage rack but from far away it looks ok. Seat foam shot dust everywhere. Could use new weather stripping and driver door panel. Underneath surface rust in some spots he had painted it years ago so its pretty good for a driver. Original spare all the car keys, original rallys center rings also a spare ac compressor. Everything he took off he kept.
I paid 12,900 I told him 13,000 was bad luck for me. Also car paint code is 988 steel cities grey wich I like.
let me know if I paid to much. Times are tough, people are forclosing gas is up and I'am buying corvettes. Go figure.
That looks great. 12,900 is a steal. I paid more than that for my '71 Roadster 12 years ago. I don't think I'd change a thing. Well, maybe fix those windshield wipers.
