has anyone ever dealt with these people? I am thinking of sending them my steering box to be rebuilt. They said $150.00 plus shipping, not bad. I am just wondering if they are any good. TIA.

They have done the trailing arms and rears in all 3 of my Vettes. No problems at all. I have friends that have used them for all the steering components with great results.

Good people.

Gary (GTR1999) is nearby in Conn. and does great work. He might be more expensive than others but considering the level of work and precision he puts into rebuilds the cost is justified.

These are GREAT folks! When you live in Alaska you get tired of shipping parts back and forth. These folks think ahead and get it right the first time. I've ordered at least a half dozen itms over the past 5 years and never had a problem.

I've met Brian a couple times and had a tour of the shop. I just ordered some parts Friday and about 1/2 hour later called back to get 3 fuel line clips added and my order was already in the mail.

I had the rear on my 73 rebuilt by Bair's and also purchased rebuilt trailing arms from them about three years ago. Price was slightly higher than others but the quality is there. Not a single problem since I installed them.

I have a steering box they rebuilt for me last year on a shelf getting ready for the suspension rebuild. When I tear it all apart, I am planning to send them the rear as well. I have also called just to ask questions about spindle replacment. Always answered my questions. That meant alot to me.

I live 40+ miles from their shop. Brian is a great guy and their service is great. They specialize in C3's. Can't say anything bad about them.

Add my name to the list of satisfied customer. Brian took my order and spent some of his time on the phone to give me some pointers on re-installing the T/A's. Good company to do business with.

Default The best around.

You won't get treated any better than the treatment you get from the people at Bair's. Brian and the whole staff will go out of their way to treat every customer like their best customer. I drove to Bair's and bought many of my parts for my 68 . I bought an Al Knoch convertible top from them and it turned out to be defective ( too short on sides ) and Al Knoch refused to stand behind his top. Brian saw pictures of the top and agreed that it was too short and sent me a full refund. That is the difference between dealing with some companys and dealing with Bair's. I will never buy anything from Al Knoch again.

I would consider it unanimous Bairs is great company that offers excellent customer support and quality work. That's a pretty rare thing these days. Let's hope they are around for a long time.
