Need help verifying if..
I originally posted this in C1-C2 general, but no help there yet. Can anyone tell me if:
This emblem is from the hood of a 1956-57 corvette, and how I can tell if it is original or reproduction. Thanks for any help you can provide!

I tried to get a better shot of the flags:
I was able to wet sant the emblem with some fine sand paper and polish it out so the flaws seen are in the back of the emblem. Tell me what you think, I don't know what to look for to verify if they are original. Thanks!

I comapred it against a 58 but just in that one year there were some differences. So I think the best bet to be sure would be to run it by someone on the NCRS board. Sorry I could't be more exact. I believe it is original but can't be certain.
