Another LED tailight thread
I really need new taillight lens at least, so looking into led type. Anyone try these:

The rodworx site has direct fit into corvettes - look nice, a bit expensive compared to truck/trailer type.
I like the Pro LED with 40 diodes - in rings, but then need to use the rubber grommet, great price though.
I have seen the threads with the harbor freight type, but I want more LEDs if I get some. I could build up some - would really like outter ring of 12+ LEDs as tail lights (on all four), brake and turn could light up em all. Could even do an inner ring for reverse lights - use stock lens - but a bit of work involved.
Anyone got other good ideas?

The first set from rodworx is the same lights as Corvette Central and other vendors. I have seen a couple people on here that have bought those, however I have yet to see pictures. Many people have been having trouble getting the correct flasher module to pair with these lights to get them to work, as I have seen a couple threads on that problem specifically.
I haven't seen anyone with the 40led pair, though they look pretty cool and not too bad on the wallet.
I would love for a company to make halo led lights for the c3, similarly to the c5, however I don't think there is much demand for something like that.
