Motor is a 6.0 with L92 heads, custom cam, and sheet metal intake. I built pretty much everything in the pictures, headers, intake, coil covers, accessory brackets, motor mounts, you name it.
My uncle Doug at The Shop Body Shop in Grandville, MI painted the car. The paint is Mandarin Orange Pearl.
After all that work I couldn't be happier with the car!
Congrats on the swap! I like the paint color. Very similar to Atomic Orange that I'm thinking about for an eventual paint job. Have to get the LS1 running first though.

Thanks. The paint only looks like the Atomic Orange from GM's pictures. Atomic Orange in real life, especially in overcast conditions, is not that impressive. If you haven't already, check it out at the dealer when it's not sunny. There's quite a brown tint to it in the shade. I had originally planned on using that color too.
Fantastic intake and coil covers also - great to see creative efforts. A set of aluminum coil covers, with jeweled turning, might be on my coversion in the not too distant future, following in your footsteps.
Came out really nice,ls motor came out great too.I see you had jesse do the tune, not bad for a mail order tune huh?I now use efilive to mine, but jesse had mine very close.

Thanks guys. It runs great, only a few very minor issues. Sometimes it dies when I get off the gas and stick the clutch in. It doesn't happen all the time and it seems to be getting better. Jesse said in another thread that his OS has more learning capability than the stock one so I'm going to give it a while. The other issue is it stumbles if I get into the gas really quick. His website says free touchups so I'll send it in after a few tanks of gas. Other than that it is perfect. I'm amazed at how good it is considering all the modifications. Very well worth the $85!
