I've put 10-12k miles a year on my 76 since I've had it (25k in a little over 2 years). It's my full time car.

The 1968 use to be the everyday transportation when new. Parked in 1973 with 28086 miles it is now nearly all back together and it still has only has 28086 miles. Actually I now prefer to use my Sahara since I bought it. Many toys and non of them have excessive mileage. However when I was using the 68 everyday the weekends were normally filled with ski trips to Boyne Mt, of approximately 270 miles one way from Dearborn.

Over at a friends house 1970.

As is today in 2008

I drove my 82 for 21,000 miles a year for 7 years. Towed once for rear wheel bearings, once for ignition module, and once for a brake issue. The brake issue had nothing to do with the Vette - a faulty repair was the problem. Notice - nothing about the crossfire!

DD here (only when it's not raining).

Home to office, almost all of it is highway 60-70 mph. = 12 miles each way. 24 miles total. 5 days per week.

My gas bill is remarkably small considering. I guess I fill it up every two, two & a half weeks??? $75.00 per fill
