Find someone who will give you an old console to use as a pattern and go from there. I bought some leather off of evil bay and recovered all of my interior pieces. It all looks like new, no one else has one like mine and only cost 150 bucks for three full hides of leather.

.ill paint the screws tomorrow, i like it now.wrinkles are gone for the most part.

FWIW, I'm surprised no one has done a massive stained oak replacement console, like the ones in all those '80's "show trucks" and "conversion vans".

FWIW, I'd make some kind of trim ring to go around the parking brake lever. The cut edge of carpet looks silly, and hiding that would make this look pretty darn good.
