Man, I just got off the phone as well with Edelbrock just to see if they gave a different answer. They said that it wasn't their problem, at that "you chose to buy the heads, it's not our fault!" Now I wish I could have a small chat with Vic himself, then again, I see him every year at the historic races in at the military base. who knows, but also my beef would be with Hooker, for their very un-updated design of headers. most new heads these days have angled plugs, so you'd think that they'd at least change the design, becasue there is tons more room for that tube to move out of the way of plugs!
Oh well, my rant for the day is over.....
They treated me the same,read my other post about" warning about edelbrock heads",theres alot of posting going on there.It should be in their advertisment that there are certain vehicles that their heads wont match up to any headers.And thats the truth there are no header manufactures that make headers to fit our cars.
They are rude bastards,the post i told you about is in the tech section.

SPOKE WITH A GENTLEMAN ABOUT OUR SITUATION AND HE IS CONFIDENT HIS COMPANY CAN AND WILL FABRICATE SOME SIDE EXIT HEADERS THAT WILL FIT ALL SB ANGLE PLUG HEADS FOR THE C3S. I WILL STEER ALL INTERESTED OWNERS TO HIM AFTER I HAVE THEM IN MY HOT LITTLE HANDS AND KNOW THAT THEY FIT RIGHT.
