LAst night I was getting ready for the Atlantic Nationals; polishing, buffing etc and I figured I would go for a little jaunt around the block. I jumped in and fired the old girl up, went to put it in hear and the shifter cable broke.
My question is - how big a job is this. The car is still in my garage (the only good news) but I am only 5 days from the Nationals. Assuming I can get a cable in time, how long will it take to install? Is it just a matter of releasing the top and bottome clips and feeding a new cale through?
it is not that hard, you will have to remove the shifter bezel inside the car, and if you unbolt the shifter it will easy to route the new cable. a couple hours and you sholud be done, good luck
