I also have red interior and was thinking about replacing the black console with wood, and now I know it looks great!
is that the burlwood? or the rosewood?
I was thinking of throwing in the burlwood, but I think you have the rosewood, am I correct?
EDIT:
if possible could you send me a close up pic of your radio and wood console, I wanted to see how it fit, I was thinking about changing my radio out with one that had the chrome face and *****. I believe I have the same radio as you do now.

The previous owner installed the wood console. he did tell me it was rosewood. Yes, I will get you a close up of the radio, but it will have to be in a few days. If you do not hear from me in a few days email me at rcooper1@hvc.rr.com and I will get you the pictures.
