Wiring Harness Problem-PLEASE HELP

Okay, I had an electrical fire under the dash and all of my interior wires have been burned. I unplugged everything that was attached to the harness and unscrewed the fuse box from the firewall but there are some wires that look like they are hard wired into another box that is on the firewall and goes into the engine compartment for the lights and stuff. I need to know how to remove that box so that i can disconnect the harness to put a new one in. PLEASE HELP

looking at disassembly photos of the 69, and don't see what you are talking about. Post a pic.
