Default T-tops

What years do these fit, they do not fit my '74 with the rear pin...

http://s241.photobucket.com/albums/f...brien76/Vette/

Also, if they don't fit, would like to know which years that they are designed for and an asking price that is fair for them when I sell them.

Thanks,

Kevin

68-77 tops have two lock latches (front and rear) and use the triangle tooth at the rear attaching point on the halo panel. 78-82 tops have one lock latch at the front which pulls the rear pin on the halo panel when the top is unlatched.

After looking at your pix, I not certain you've got a pair of Corvette tops there, but if they are Corvette, they are 78-82.

You can fit the 78-82 tops to your '74 if you use the 78-82 rear atttaching hardware. You will need a pair of these.

Probably a dumb question but where would the 78-82 rear atttaching hardware fit, on the car or to the t-top? I'm thinking the car...

I have painted t-tops with the two latches and they fit fine, but when I bought this car it had both sets, I get home and realize, huh the mirrored ones don't fit right, ahhhhh thanks bud :-)

What do you think a fair asking price is for them?

Those look a lot, but not exactly, like my mirrored t-tops on my 80. I think if they are in good condition, they can go for around $500 if I remember right. but if they are not corvette tops, I'm not sure.

The pin and locking mechanism look like my 78. Are they shaped just like yours. If you click the img code over the post it will show the picture here. Nice looking vette.

That is why you would have to drill a hole and install this.

Maybe, but you wouldn't have the rear guide bolt anymore.
