ecklers l88 air chamber problems

ecklers l88 air chamber problems
so if i figured if i had the l88 hood (from ecklers) why not make it fuctional? so i bought the air chamber p/n 10416. well i go to line it up today and it doesnt fit right at top of underside of hood were the brace goes across of hood. at all. has any body had to cut some of the bracing out to make this chamber fit?
