Then again, his name is not "paul79"!
It was from 1999 to 2003.

Yep, new console and parking brake covers. Relentless search for perfection. Look for a thread on passenger side mirror installation later this week. But only if the 3/8" holes line up....If they don't??

But my thanks to EdT (an old friend) for this.

OK,

These cars are all without engine mods so HP people keep that in mind. I am not a person who needs power beyond stock.

Votes are:

1974 - 20
1979 - 8
1967 - 24

So the 1967 wins. I'm not surprised. Beautiful car with timeless beauty.

Status of vehicles and ratings:

1974 - my driver for 2008 (#1)
1979 - sold in 2003 to buy 1967 (#2)
1967 - stored since October of 2007. Now sold. Leaving for new owner in USA in a week or two (#3)

My favourite? The 1974! Last year of true dual exhaust. Convertible that is enjoyable. Base engine with strong TH400. Modest performance OK with me. Bring out the old dwell tach for points and condensor. Can't beat this car for a sunny, Sunday afternoon drive. The 1974-76 rubber bumpers are the runts of the litter but actually they are very nice cars.

1979. A wonderful car that I enjoyed for 17 years. Relatively strong L-82 engine. This is a strong second but a convertible works for me. People pooh-pooh the 1979 simply for production numbers but it is a very nice and dependable driver.

1967. You can't help but love these cars. But after a new interior and paint ($9,000) in 2005 I was afraid to drive it. Brent was bang on. A lot of money tied up that although insured (agreed value), could break your heart with one accident. Or even door dings, stone chips, etc. The 1967 stressed me out when I drove it. So it's gone. But it will not be forgotten.

Thanks to those who took the time to vote.
