I like his C2 a LOT but it's a scary car. I would be so afraid of owning a car like that. Big difference between someone keying my '77 and keying his C2 because of the sheer value. I would never have the courage to drive and park it anywhere and I would want to trailer it everywhere to keep the mileage low and the value high.
For those reasons...and let me make it clear that I LOVE that C2...I voted for his new toy the '74 vert which seems to already be a ton of fun for Paul.

I totally agree. That's why I don't paint my '58, because I'm still in the "I'm not afraid to drive it" mode. That's what happened to my split window, and that was my favorite car out of 15.
I voted for the 67. I don't care that it is so nice you might be afraid to drive it. I'm in the "I'd like to have a problem like that" camp. Sorry guys, I'd sell my 79 for a mid year of equal condition any time any place. Of course I know that is dreaming since the values of the 2 are way way off.
I agree. I was totally looking for a C2 as my car until I saw the price tags (lets say I was slightly uneducated on prices to start). So went to the early model C3, which I do really like. But with the option, I'll take, and drive the C2. So I voted 67 all the way.

X2. Paul already knows I am crazy about the '67. And ditto for me selling what's left of mine (haha) for something like Paul's in equal condition.
The '74 is just pretty with perfect lines. It just needs some Hooker sidepipes and I would call it done. It brings back memories for me of my Dad's Vette.
I think we vote for our favorites, but Im voting for what I think is Paul's favorite. Paul sold the 79 to get the 67. But then got the 74 to keep the 67 prestine.
Answer seems obvious to me. I love my C2 so much, that Im buying another Vette as a driver so I can keep my baby prestine.
I vote for the C2.
By the way, when ever I see a C2 cruising -coupe or vert, I cant get over how nice those cars look.
It's a trick question! He loves the 79'! Less turbance than the 74' and more refined than the 67. Plus he wouldn't be afraid to drive the 79' at any time. (I prefer the 74' over all of them but I voted his favorite as the 79'.) Of course, it must be tough having to choose which Vette you want to drive for the day.

I chose the '67. Why? Well mainly because I don't have one. But if I did, the '73 would get a body off resto, and the '67...that bad *** looking, woman getting, sex machine, would be beautimus erectis! Nuff Said!!
I voted 67 as well....Vettes regardless of their age were meant to be driven as that's why we buy the cars we do in the first place right?
I wouldn't be concerned really with what people might do to it out of jealousy or what have you and our biggest assets are our homes and we leave that all the time so I for one wouldn't worry about living in fear when owning one and would drive it proudly for myself and also so it could be admired by all corvette fans and non fans to enjoy.
