Thanks the body kit and flares were a big factor in removing the bumpers. I thought it would flow real well. Next is a BM stripe in silver

Here's my custom paint, it's a standox effect paint called montecarlo magic.

It's hard to get the camera to catch all the colors. It goes from purple to blue, to green and there's also some dark copper tones under the right angle.

the rears have a 1" spacer, the wheels are not deep enough. I'm going to order some new ones, 2"wider, 1" less offset, it'll look a lot deeper. From the rear, these are silly narrow. They don't fill the flares properly.

Pics are taken right after firing up the engine, it's still running with open ehaders and short boat mufflers. My brother has to finish building the custom inserts for the sidepipes. There are also no mirrors on the car in this pic.

This is with the boat mufflers, still too loud

Well this is more custome work that you cant really see...it's funny you mentioned boat mufflers...I also have boat mufflers I actually have a set of the two disc racing incerts at the collector then I have a set of mufflers that I took out of my buddies drag boat headers. The car is still real loud but I like.

You car sounds good I think it would tone down a bit more if you put the pipes on....and is that a gear drive I hear.....I got one too

Here is a little clip of mine, the racing disc knocked the noise down a little but was still a bit loud then I threw thos boat muffs in because I had them laying around and it sounds great I think

I’ve been following your thread on the interior upgrade. You do very nice work!!! I don’t think I would have the nads to start a project that large. I like what you did to the front opening it up, that looks classy. I had thought about opening up the front on my ’69 but I just don’t like the chrome bumper cars that have been done like that.

I was thinking about trying the car chemestry inserts along with the boat mufflers, yours sounds awesome I'm only worried about passing inspection, they don't take too kindly to excessive noise. I can always pull the mufflers out if it's too quiet later on.

My boat mufflers are 4"OD and 3,5" ID, hardly any muffling at all:

Yes, you hear an erson gear drive
