i have a 76 corvette that has been sitting for about 10 years. I would like to to flush out the old differential fluid and replace it. It there a simple way to flush it without taking the differential apart?
If anyone has done something like this please share your methods.
Remove the 'fill' plug; attach rubber hose to cheap turkey baster; insert hose into 'fill' hole and submerge it into the diffy fluid; squeeze and release baster bulb; remove hose and squirt oil fluid into can; repeat till empty.
Pick up 4 bottles of GM Non synthetic gear oil and 2 bottles of GM posi addative, and take it to oil changers and coach them. have them put the addative in first, after they get all the old fluid out. they have a sucker for to old fluid.
