It's Home !!!!! WITH NEW PICS IN THE SUN !!!!!!
Finally
First ride home............
Better pics tomorrow in the sun
wet sanded, buffed and detailed the car last saturday. spent this week doing the punch list
and I do feel like I've been PUNCHED out getting this car finished
the car is running great
but the bto trans temp guage was reading 220 5 miles into my ride home through the city at 30-35 mph. I had the A/C on
and I left the trany in 3'rd not allowing the trans to shift into overdrive! I sure hope the guage is wrong
the engine ran at 185 the whole way......... what are the chances it's the guage????

I don't know anything about trans temps so I can't help you there. But I do know a BEAUTIFUL car when I see one! And that one sure is PUUUURTY!

That is one sweet Corvette!
Tell us about the tires and wheels. I don't remember seeing any info about them in your other posts. What sizes did you end up with?

Bring that up to the Wheels Of Time show in Brockton in Sept. I'd love to see it in person.

the wheels are TT'II's and the tires are dunlop 245 50 17's. I tried a 255 50 but the front tires hit the front wheel well openings alot
I wish I was able to run the 255 50 because it filled the wheel well nicely

Very nice
Most trans have their coolers in the radiator so the trans is going to be brought up to around the engine temp.
