Default Danmar Lifts- any good?

Danmar 4-post lifts seem very reasonable (cheap). Anyone have any experience with them?

I bought one a few months ago and am very satisfied. It is probably not a good choice if you are a garage, lifting many heavy vehicles every day for years. But its a great choice in my opinion for the corvette hobbyist. It takes a minute or 2 to raise, but so what? It has a VERY good independent mechanical safety system, so you don't have to worry about loosing hydraulic pressure while you're under it. It fantastic for most work on the underside, except wheels and brakes. I am now raising my Vette to eye level so I can fix the incredible complicated headlight door system.

The only difficulty I think is getting it to your house. Their free delivery from Calif. is only to a place with a loading dock, not a residential garage. So you need to find a local outfit that will take it for you, then deliver it to your house. Or you can bring a trailer to the local freight warehouse and pick it up yourself (get some strong friends).

Oh, and if you don't have a high enough ceiling in your garage (at least 10') it includes heavy duty casters so you can roll it out onto your driveway. Good weather only of course.
