Atomic Orange 1978

[/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]The body work and paint on the 78 is complete. Originally silver, I went with the 2008 Atomic Orange Paint. Changed the rear bumper to the 80-82 style, put in a new dash and replaced/reconditioned/dyed interior.
Superior workmanship and detail by Chris Cunningham of Auto Body Specialist in Garland, Texas.

Wow, I remember the thread where you were asking for opinions on staying Silver or going Orange and I thought to myself
to stay Silver because sometimes newer colors don't look right on older cars, but I have to say you made the right choice
and glad the work came out nice.

Thanks for the compliments. It really is an amazing color that changes based on the light conditions.

Turned out great. I always liked that color. I was even considering it for my 71 vert. Seems like it has become a popular option for the C3 crowd. I've seen 3-4 in the last 6 months. It really works well on the curvy bodies.
