Default Help me find a replacement hose.

What do you call the hose that goes from the bottom of the surge tank to the water pump ?
It's about 2 inches thick.

It's for a 69 BB vette.

Lower radiator hose is the one that connects the water pump and the radiator.. right?
I am looking for the one that connects the surge tank with the water pump.

I just replaced all of the hoses on my '71 BB, and the one that goes from the water pump to the tank is a 3/4" I.D. heater hose. I measured all of the hoses and bought stock 5/8" and 3/4" Gates heater hoses at NAPA and cut them myself to get the exact fit.

I think I am going to do that. It would be much cheaper too.
(Just wanted to get original hoses

Hi ,
SLK is right the hose from the auto parts store works fine and is a good price. Dr. Rebuild has the hose that looks like the original but is more costly.

Alan
