I thought the Jake logo (C6 Racing Team Mascot) was a nice touch on the new ZR1 ... probably 'cause my 3 yr old son is named Jake. Anyway, it looks cool !
I was also there yesterday and LOVED that silver 76? not sure of the year. Great styling and paint. We left about 6 and ran into some const. detours on 78 east. If I had the cash I would have 1 of those new frames with a LS.

I too love the resto mods. I don't think mine is going to be near as nice as some of those in the pics but I am pretty happy with it at this point. Great pics by the way. The silver one is very nice. I have came across it while surfing some of the LS swap threads/links.

Not to sidetrack this, but IMHO that windowed hood on the new ZR1 makes it appear the Corvette design group are now taking cues from the neon poser crowd. However mighty may be the LS9, I'd rather behold its performance... Just my unsolicited $.02.

The silver Vette was a 73 if you are talking the one with the C3 HR on it. It's owned by Bob Lucas and built by HarborVettes. It's a 500hp LS1 with Heads and Cam mated to a 4l60e. The interior is all custom done by Sew-it-Seams whose work was posted in some other threads.
Those who saw it would probably agree that it looked much better in person then even the pictures.
