Those look awesome. This is a future upgrade for my 69 as well. Let me ask you though, how hot do those pipes get? I've had people tell me that the stock side pipes (they are not smooth like yours - center pieces have the lines) are better for avoiding hot pipes. I like the smooth chrome look of those pipes. But with two little ones fighting for rides in the vette and a wife who will forget the pipes, I don't want to put on anything too hot. Probably a winter project for this car so I have some time.
If you've got children then I'd recommend heat shields 'cause you can get a nasty burn.

What's the trick with the motor mounts? How do they affect your side pipes? I'm assuming it had something to do with the gaps being different on one side of the car versus the other. If so, what was the trick?
