Anyone ever seen brake fluid shoot four feet straight up out of a master cylinder during bleeding. It was when the cover was off. It came out of the rear chamber. I had not even started to bleed that side yet. Was working on the fronts.
Replaced all four calipers and master cylinder. MC was bench bled prior to install.

Lots of trapped air in the line. The air pressurizes when you press the pedal... Guess what it does when you release the pedal (if you are not bleeding off the air)??? Once the air is bled out of the system, that won't happen to you. [Psst.. that's why you lay the cover over the M/C when you bleed it.]
