That's a da** nice looking '68 for 7500. However it turns out, I think you got a good deal. I like the sloped rear window. looks as good as the cut down one. Nice. Good Luck,, you may be able to fund your retirement. Get rid of that late model flag emblem though.

KO MOTION corvette was 67 435 car, motor yanked and l-88 dropped in and held several records in old AHRA, owner killed in vietnam, car sold by sister few years back to new owner (second) on condition it be kept as is. car has been featured at several corvette shows.

FYI, Motion also sold bits back in the day, not just complete cars, which probably explains why there's so often questions as to the authenticity of many a possible Motion machine nowadays. I've still got a catalog buried somewhere, and ran across the decal that came with it not long ago, tho I can't find it just now. (Ought to be displayed on my tool chest, no?)
I don't know what kind of records they've kept, but they might well be able to help you identify it if it was one of theirs...
