Default Cupholder pictures

Here are some pictures of cupholders I intergrated into the center console armrest cushion. I picked up the cupholders at Walmart and cut off the frame which was made to screw onto a panel. Made a cut out on the back of the armrest (smaller than the size of the cupholder) and removed the foam. I used 3M adhesive spray to secure the cupholder in the cushion.

Picture with the armrest in normal position:

It's a clever idea...takes up less space than some of the others I've seen. But, it wouldn't work for me--my elbow would be in the 'back' holder most of the time.

Great idea Ben, I like the fact that you can flip it over if your not using the cup holder's. I think you may have something there!!! Good idea.

That is a pretty neat idea. When not in use it looks like the normal
console cover. Pretty clever.

400HP - I'm suprised I have seen your ride around - we're practically neighbors - I'm in North Merrick.

It was actually pretty easy to do. I figured the worst that can happen is I have to spend $40 on another cushion. Send me an email - I can pick up your console cushion to modify.

Sorry I didn't think about taking pictures until I finished. If I end up doing one for 400HP427vette I will take pictures along the way and post.

Had my first test today and it stayed in place. The cushion hold pretty tightly between the seats. I wouldn't use cup without a cover though...

What car did the cup holder come out of? Or where did you find it?

Got the cupholder from Walmart a while back. They also have it at Autobarn, Link below:

Modified by cutting the wedge frame off with a dremel
