None, the magazines follow the advertising and it is all C5 and C6 stuff. If you want to learn about old school performance, go to Hot Rod, Super Chevy, or my favorite, Chevy High Performance.
I think Corvette Fever. Last year they built a project car called "Project Shark Attack" using a 79, C-3. They also run some pretty good C-3 articles. I also tried "Vette", but most of their stuff is C-5 and C-6.
They all come and go with C3. Sometimes they are in favor, other times not. I subscribe to Corvette Fever and often times get frustrated with the lack of C3 stuff. Then in a month or two they make up for it. In the interim I go down to the bookstore and pickup one of the other rags. I like Vette and Corvette Enthusiast too but don't have subscriptions.

For engine tech and chevy engine building BB or SB you can't beat Chevy High Performance. Corvette Fever has some C3 stuff sometimes.
I'll say" vette " over the years I've kept the issues that something in it on the C3 regardless of how small, it they seem to hit all the problems areas that we run into sooner or later
I subscribed to Vette and Corvette Fever for years and years. Quit both because they became more and more C5 and C6. My favorite at the moment is Corvette Enthusiast due chiefly to JohnZ's articles and the column by Noland Adams, however the most recent issue of CE is nothing but C5s and C6s which is out of the ordinary for them. Just the same, if this is a trend, I will not be renewing my subscription.
When one has C3 General and Tech/Performance in CF, subscriptions to Corvette magazines are superfluous.
I've barely looked at a magazine since I've been on CF. There is way more here . . . pics, how-to's, Q&A, feedback, tech help and a very knowledgeable staff You can't get "flamed" by a magazine either
The only one I still receive is CORVETTE ENTHUSIAST.
SHARK QUARTERLY, which Easy Mike mentioned, has been gone since 2000. I have 18 issues, and don't know if there were more or not.
As Steve said the big money is in the newer cars so that's where the magazines went.
Regards,
Alan

It's true - there is certainly a lot more specific C3 information on the forums than in any of the monthly rags. I still subscribe to CORVETTE ENTHUSIAST, however. That's because you can't take the laptop into the bathroom......or at least you shouldn't.

Shark Quarterly has been out of print for several years now. I liked it and only found it when it was at its end. Too bad as I would have subscribed to it for sure.

I've been getting CORVETTE ENTHUSIAST for a couple years now. Not much on C3's and I still don't understand the pages they devote to die cast toy cars.

I get corvette fever because from what I see they have the most c3 stuff

The 6 year subscription collection I have of Corvette Fever
magazines from June, 1997 to December, 2003 has 80% C3s in it,
with several early articles for 53-67s. Those along with years prior to 97,
were the "Hey Days" for the C3s in Corvette Fever.
As for engines and accessories for Hp, I think Hot Rod and
Chevy High Performance are excellent choices.
However, if you really think about it, who needs a Corvette
magazine subscription for C3s anyway. This forum, in my opinion,
is the best place of all to read about the "How To" hands down.
Heck, we are the reason those magazines survive,
it's our experiences, our cars that go into their subscriptions.
I know, you need something to read in the can.
It must be the reason why I get Hot Rod and Chevy High Performance.
Also, The Corvette Enthusiast is probably the nicest looking, best
quality subscription to own. It's kinda like buying a nice softcover book
to save or collect. I don't recycle them.
I'm pretty sure I got every issue of Shark Quaterly. I liked it, but there wasn't too much technical stuff. Mostly history. I think they operated at a loss for as long as they could and just plain ran outta money.
