Speedometer Questions
I have a '75 coupe, automatic, no cruise. My speedometer does not register anything when I'm driving. I disconnected the cable from the transmission and hooked that end to an electric drill to see if the speedometer needle would move. I got nothing. Does this mean it is disconnected at the speedometer?
Also, when I researched getting a new cable, it lists an upper and lower cable needed. Are they talking about the odometer cable that mounts under the dash or are there two speedometer cables?

Upper and lower cable is for cars with cruise control. Since your car doesn't have it, it takes a single cable.
