trying to land this architecture job thats in toledo..... so far after 700 resumes/followups over a 1-2 month span ..i get a call this morning.......

cali would be cool if the 200 firms that i contacted and followed up with and said i dont need relocation costs would actually give me the time of day. i didnt want to freeball it out there since my funds are low .

i feel your pain - it was the same with me. i would get the ol' "call us when you get here" and we'll arrange an interview. Uh okay...what do i do with the rest of the day after i just flew from ny to cali? and what soup kitchen do i go to till i hear back?
