Default New Intake !!!!!??????

I just got a used rpm air gap off the forum here and had it powder coated , my question is Edelbrock web site says to use a special bolt kit for this intake . Does anybody know what is so special about the kit i curently have an ARP bolt kit that i used on my other intake ?

You don't need a special bolt kit.

I think Edelbrock is just saying that if you need bolts for your intake manifold, use their part number 8504. They are just regular intake manifold bolts. You might need a special hood, though, to fit over that intake manifold.

i just put one on my 75. used regular bolts and fit under hood with drop base aircleaner

Great thanks , yea i have a drop base w/about 1inch clearance from the stock hood !

Well, if the toddler in your avatar doesn't cause any clearance issues, the manifold should not be a problem.

With the drop base, just make sure you have enough clearance between the vent tube and the air cleaner lid.
