Vette Air Cleaner?
More of a 1st generation Monte Carlo guy (at least it's a chev, right?) but I've found an air cleaner people are telling me belonged on a vette. From the HP on the lid, it sounds about 1971. I looked at various pics on ebay but never saw one with such short snouts. They appear original and not cut off. The lid is chrome although the picture doesn't really look like it. Is this from a vette?

I believe you have an air cleaner from a 71.
I believe the snouts have been cut off. Someone tried to flair the cut edges so they wouldn't look so bad.
