69 radio question

69 radio question
I would like to add a pretty commonly available refurbed 72 - 76 Delco stereo am / fm to a 69. Several with warranty on ebay.
I think I have found a 69 non functioning radio with green numbers. Can the green numbers be transferred to the 72 - 76 style replacing the white numbers?
This isn't a NCRS car but it would be nice to match the other gauges.

Hi K2915,
I just took a look at my radio and the dial section looks like it can be changed with out too much trouble. Getting the 'string' that moves the pointer off, and back on, looks like it might be a little tricky.
I'd give it a try!

I have been asking around it seems possible so I will get a classic radio guy to do it as I have seen how that movie ends.

Everything insidfe was rebuilt and all is date coded. Sounds like the natural bad sound of 69 radios too.
