To replace the #4 nut you will have to remove the reinforcement that is riveted onto the body. The rivets for the nut cage are underneath the reinforcement. Fortunately the rivets are aluminum and grind off/pound out pretty easily.
I'm not sure what you are asking about the other mount. If it's rubber a propane torch will do the job.
okay.........i located the top portion of the #4 mount bolt and the square nut cage did break off........i plan on vise grips to hold nut from spinning.
my second problem is getting the bushing out from between the frame (the #3 mount). i did think of a torch to melt it............is that safe with the fiberglass? And should i dare try to remove the #2 bushing? i know it can be accessed from kick panel, however, i am certain getting it out from frame will be just as tough. I realized unfortunately that my rear bumper seemed to have spread a bit at the seam....was this from lifting the body?

i would appreciate the help if you can..........
thanks.............Gene
I shouldn't have suggested a torch before. Bad idea to try that with the body on the frame. If you have the bolts out you should be able to detach the bushings with a hammer and screwdriver. The shims might be rusted onto the rocker panel, and the old tape might be holding them also, but it should be fairly easy to knock them loose.

Good luck with the vise grips. Mine was rather rusted and seized. I ended up having to take the sawzall after the bolt on both number fours.
