70 - 77 Rocker Panel Differences
Can someone describe the differences in the 70 - 77 rocker panels? I understand that early years 70-72/73 ? had a "tab" on the panel and this tab does not exist on the later models. Can anyone clear up the confusion?

The 'early' vintage panel [with the tab] are a bit longer than the later version, also. The later panels were shortened to make clearance for larger tires; so you can't use them on early 70's C3's.

Correction: For the 70-77 panels, there is NO length difference; the panels were shortened for '78 and after. The difference in the early '70s panels is the 'extra' attachment lug at the bottom [and toward the front] of each panel. Sorry for the error.
