A lot of truth to that...... at least the 93 can be driven in the cold, don't know about the snow though.
I had an '85 in the early 90s that I drove in the snow, not by choice. Weather snapped on me. It was fine for the most part, got a little squirrelly when I was almost home.
I just sold my C-4 to my Dad. The C-3 was to have a Corvette again. I may get another C-4 again someday. I liked things about that car that the C-3 is lacking in. Power for one. Fuel economy for another. Anyway, that sounds like a screamin' deal on a really nice car. Congrats!
No hate here either. I just got back into a C3 this past summer and I have been looking quietly at C4s. I have a '95 Camry that is getting into some pretty rough shape and I would like to replace it with something next year. With the present prices of C4s, I wouldn't mind replacing it with a clean '93-'95 Corvette to use as my daily driver. I think I can even talk my wife into it IF it was automatic transmission.
Very nice looking car. I've always liked the wheels on that year car. And it's a 40th Anniversay car too. You can't go wrong with a black Vette. Nice find!
