Default z06 wheels?

I'm just curious as to what people think about z06 wheels on a c3. I have a 1974 stingray, white with t-tops, and I'm thinking about getting some z06 wheels to play around with. I have rally wheels right now that i must say do look mighty fine. Opinions and pictures are welcome! Thanks everyone!

I think the newer C5 and C6 wheels look very good on C3s. Lots have done the swap. You can PM Sully1882 for pics and details.

Basically, you'll need a set of 2.5" wheel adapters to make up for the different back spacing. You might also have to relocate the E-brake cable brackets if they interfere with the new wheels. Simple grind and weld operation.

Personally, I don't like the Z06 wheels. Your '74 with the stock ralley wheels would be perfectly fine with me.

I used to run a set of P02s on my '74. They looked good.

The mixing of C5/C6 wheels on a C3 looks like in-breeding. Not a good look.

My car IS INBRED.

It has something from every generation Corvette. That's the beauty of it. Have it YOUR way (or in this case MY way). But I respect that you don't like the look. It is not for everyone.
